Pumpkin Powder

1 medium Pumpkin


1Wash (but do not peel) the outside of a pumpkin and scoop out the pumpkin seeds

2Trim off the stem and the blossom end

3Slice pumpkin in half, then slice into 1/4 - 3/8 inch thick slices. Cut the slices in half lengthwise if needed to fit on tray.

4Lay the thin pieces in a single layer on your Excalibur® dehydrator tray

5Dehydrate at 125 degrees F for 8-12 hours or until dry

6Once dried, put the pieces in a blender and puree until powdered

For reference, a 7lb pumpkin produces approximately 1 cup of Pumpkin Powder.
