Holiday Simmer Pot Kits
Give the gift of a warm & lovely scented home. These holiday simmer pot kits make a great gift and are simple to make. Feel free to customize with any dried fruits and spices you have on hand to make your own custom scent.

Ingredients
14 Dried Apple Slices (about 2 apples sliced 1/4" thick and dried)
10 Dried Orange Slices (about 2 oranges sliced 1/4" thick and dried)
Small Pieces of Wrapping Paper, Tape & Ribbons (optional)
Directions
Directions to make Simmer Pot Kits:
1Take out the mason jar metal lid insert and use a pen to trace around it on festive wrapping paper.
2Cut out the traced circle of wrapping paper and use double sided tape or spray adhesive to attach it to the top of the mason jar lid insert.
3Divide simmer pots ingredients evenly between the two wide mouth mason jars.
4Place the inner mason jar metal lid on top of jar.
5Carefully screw the outer metal band of the lid on top, taking care not to rip the paper.
6Add ribbon or gift tags. (Optional)
Directions to use Simmer Pot Kits:
1Fill medium saucepan 3/4 of the way with water and simmer on low.
2Add contents of jar to simmering water.
3Continue to simmer on low to fill home with an all-natural holiday scent.
4Monitor and add more water as necessary. Contents can be simmered for hours.
