Dehydrated Tomatoes Recipe

  • Dehydrate: 5 hrs


6 fresh Tomatoes of any variety


1Wash and slice tomatoes 1/4 inch thick

2Add 1 gram of pure absorbic acid (vitamin C) to a bowl of water

3Submerge the tomatoes in this water for about 3-4 minutes - this helps preserve the color

4Remove the tomoatoes from the water

5Place slices on Excalibur Dehydrator trays

6Dry at 135 degree F for 7-8 hours or until dry

7Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container
