Fruit & Fruit Leathers
Wash apples well.
Puree apples in blender. Add just enough water to get things moving in your blender.
Spread the puree evenly onto ParaFlexx sheet lined trays keeping it approximately 1/8”-1/4" thick throughout. Keep fruit leather puree about 2 inches from the edges to avoid any run-off.
Dry at 125º F for 10-14 hours or until completely crisp.
Once cooled completely, break into pieces and grind into a fine powder using a high speed blender or coffee grinder.
TIP: Once powdered, apple sugar can become clumpy in storage. It is best to store dried puree pieces in an air-tight container and powder it as you need it.
