Dehydrated Potatoes Recipe
1 bag of potatoes
1 tsp salt and pepper, to taste (optional)
1Wash potatoes well. Peel if desired.
2Dice into 3/8" cubes or slice crosswise 1/8" inch thick slices for chips.
3Important pre-treatment step to avoid discoloration: Steam potatoes for 4-6 minutes. Then rinse in cool water.
4Place potatoes in a single layer on an Excalibur Dehydrator tray.
5If making chips, season with salt and pepper if desired. (optional)
6Dry at 125°F for 6-10 hours or until dry.
